About me

I am a dynamic and versatile freelance entertainer and performer, production manager and educator.  My work spans circus, dance, nightlife, burlesque, cabaret, from young to adult audiences, as well as in event and show production, and dance, circus and pole dance teaching. Most recently, I’ve begun working as a dramaturgical outside eye.

A passionate intellectual and aspiring independent scholar, my areas of interest and study include the dynamics and overlap between systems of power, particularly through the prism of intersectional feminist, anti-racist, sex worker rights, decolonial climate justice, worker rights, LGBTQIA+, class, anti-capitalist, immigrant and disability movements and activism, and their relationships to performing arts, performing arts and sports education, and media.

With one foot in mainstream and institutional performing arts, and another in grassroots and underground ones, I aim to take part in building bridges between hegemonic cultural actors and spaces, and radical, minority, dissident ones. I also hope to contribute to the systemic change needed for circus and performing arts to reach, reflect and engage with the complexities and nuances of our populations, on and off stage, and in amateur and professional education.

A graduate from the ESAC circus school (2015), I am a resident performer at Cabaret Mademoiselle in Brussels, have worked and collaborated with Side-Show, Monki Business / TENT, Lumen Creations, GOP Varieté-Theater, Circus Monti, BLUEBACK, The Sassy Cabaret, Cirklabo and Misty Lotus Productions, and co-created projects Persona by Naga Collective, Stripclub MeufX, Bum&Boum and JERK. My work has been supported by the National Fund for the Culture and the Arts (FONCA) of Mexico individually and with the project Persona, and I have served as part of the jury for their national grants in the circus category in 2020. I was also a fellow in the 2023-2024 edition of the New Horizons Leadership Programme "NHLP EU", co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.

I am a regular teacher at Brussels Arts and Pole, I have recently joined the team of coaches for projects in creation at Cirklabo, and I am a guest artistic support teacher for Personal Projects and Practice-Based Research in the Circus and Performance bachelor program at Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg for the 2024-2025 school year.
